How to Manually Create a Playlist to Run Automatically

NextKast allows you to manually create custom playlists for specific days and times, which can then run automatically without requiring additional scheduling. Follow these steps to manually create a playlist:

1. Access the Playlist Builder:
   • Open the “Playlist Build/Voice Tracking” screen in NextKast.
2. Clear and Start a New Playlist:
   • Click on Clear New to start a new playlist.
   • You will see two options:
     • Create a New Playlist and Name It or
     • Save the Playlist for a Specific Time and Date.
3. Set the Date and Time:
   • Select the option to save the playlist for a specific time and date.
   • Choose the desired date (e.g., tomorrow) and set the time (e.g., 12 p.m.).
   • Press Create to generate the new playlist.
4. Add Songs and Voice Tracks:
   • Drag and drop songs into the playlist as desired.
   • Optionally, add voice tracks by selecting the Voice Track option.
5. Automatic Scheduling:
   • The created playlist will automatically appear in a folder named with the date (e.g., “11-10-19”).
   • If the schedule is enabled, this playlist will automatically play at the specified time (e.g., 12 p.m. tomorrow) without needing any further manual scheduling.

This new feature simplifies the process of setting up custom playlists, allowing you to automate your programming effortlessly.
