These buttons can be loaded with jingles, station IDs, advertisements, or other audio elements for use in live assist (manual mode). Audio items can be easily loaded into these Hot Buttons either by dragging and dropping from the NextKast program screen or directly from any Windows-displayed folder.

- Keyboard Activation: The Hot Buttons can also be triggered using keyboard buttons F1 to F10.
- Voice Track Integration: If triggered during a voice track recording, the Hot Buttons will be recorded into the voice tracks.
Right-Click Menu Options

- Loop: Continuously loops the sample button indefinitely.
- Delete Sample: Removes the audio sample from the button.

Display Options
The Live Assist playout-only screen allows for more extensive sample button displays, with configurations available to show buttons in layouts of 4, 6, 8, 12, or 14 high by 4 wide, offering flexibility in managing on-air content.
Playback Modes
Above the FX buttons, there are three playback options to determine how samples are played:
- Live: Plays the FX on air as soon as it is pressed.
- Preview: Allows you to hear the sample/FX without broadcasting it on air.
- Drag to Player: Enables you to drag the FX button onto the next available player for on-air play.
This setup ensures seamless control and customization of audio elements for live broadcasts, providing versatility and efficiency in content management.
